Nicholas G. Koontz

A veteran of over 35 years of theatrical and creative production experience, Nick has also specialized for the last 25(+) years in digital media, and now, HD production. His creative and technical experience includes producing, directing, acting and writing. His hands-on expertise covers production, post-production, authoring, graphics and motion graphics. His capabilities behind the camera, both directing and shooting, earn him frequent freelance positions with top New York companies and numerous professional clients. 

 

Cutting his early digital teeth integrating advanced computer systems into professional and corporate video studios, and cable TV environments, his most notable clients, included AT&T, DuPont Corporation, Comcast, Cablevision, Princeton University, and the Sony National Training Center. He also served a multi-year contract as Consultant of Record for the City of Philadelphia's Office of Cable TV.

 

 Creatively, he Co-Produced, Directed and was DP for world-class sport fishing series "Salt 'n Sea Sportsman" for SportsChannel. The series was augmented by 40-weeks of mini-segments for the for SportsChannel’s daily news program NEWSPORT Journal.

 

Corporately, Nick is CEO and one of the founding principals of InnerGate Entertainment, LLC. He was also CEO of rMediaEvents, Inc., a predecessor of InnerGate Entertainment, and Video Arts Systems & Technology, Inc., a company that he founded in 1987. Formerly, a Director of Operations for Cinegram Media Inc., a premium CD-ROM publisher, he brought their retail titles, such as “Norman Rockwell: The Man & His Art,” “The Amistad Incident,” and “OpSail2000 Edition of Tall Ships,” through conception and development to market and national distribution.
